Data Science Capstone Challenge

You've enrolled in the Data Science Challenge for the Microsoft Professional Program: Data Science track capstone course and now you want to get scored on your final challenge.

DrivenData is pleased to host a challenge for learners enrolled in the Microsoft Professional Program for Data Science. Flex your new data science skills and put your knowledge to use for tough questions of social impact. Here you’ll have the opportunity to dig into a real-world data problem with all the information you need to on this session's Capstone Challenge. How do I sign up?

Answer First, you must be registered on the corresponding course on edX. Then, you'll register here using the same e-mail address and username. Once you've logged into your account, click the "Join the competition!" button on the competition page to agree to the rules, access the data, and start working on your first submission!

What if I don't receive an e-mail?

E-mails can take a few minutes to process. If you haven't received your confirmation e-mail: check your spam folder and then wait up to 30 minutes to see if e-mail arrives. If e-mail has still not arrived in 30 minutes, contact us.

How do I get credit for my scores here?

Once the instructors open the grading functionality on edX, you will be able to obtain a course grade based on your best score for the capstone challenge. You will get credit on edX by pasting an encrypted token from DrivenData into a simple graded assignment form on the edX course. More detailed instructions are available here.
